Infocomm Technology
The GYSS Infocomm Technology Club develops future-ready digital citizens through hands-on exploration of programming and emerging technologies. We cultivate critical thinking as students learn coding fundamentals and apply their knowledge to create innovative games and digital content. Our members develop grit and perseverance as they debug complex code and tackle challenging programming projects.
Key Programmes
Drone Programming Programme
Students go from basic coding to drone operations. They'll program and control drones through hands-on activities, building perseverance as they perfect flight algorithms. Students apply their skills in the annual Singapore Science Centre's Drone Odyssey Challenge, exploring real-world applications and developing critical thinking.
AI and Coding Initiatives
Students explore artificial intelligence concepts while strengthening their programming foundations through game development using Construct3 and content creation projects. This programme nurtures responsibility as students learn about digital citizenship, respect for intellectual property, and ethical technology use. Students demonstrate perseverance as they bring their creative visions to life through code, preparing them to be responsible digital innovators.
