Visual & Performing Arts

In our day to day life, we are constantly exposed to visual and performances. Visual and performing arts (VPA) affect most people like whether we’re watching a movie, viewing an advertisement, or listening to music. For students who choose to participate in the arts, they benefit academically as well.

The performing arts in education provides students with the opportunity to engage the mind, the body, and emotions into a collaborative expression. Through study and performance, students explore and present great themes and ideas.

They discover their own voice, grow in confidence and develop empathy and ethical insight into the contradictions and paradoxes of the human condition. Performing arts students grow in understanding of what it means to be good, noble, honorable, kind and compassionate.
