Vacancy Canteen Stall
VACANCY FOR MUSLIM FOOD STALL
We are inviting interested applicants to operate a Muslim Food Stall (Rice, Mee Rebus, Mee Soto, etc) in our School Canteen.
Closing Date: Sunday, 14 July 2024
School Canteen Operating Hours:
The canteen operating hours are 6.30 am to 3.30 pm, from Monday to Fridays, during the school terms.
The stallholder is also required to operate during non-routine hours, Saturdays and School Holidays when necessary and at the request of the school.
Requirements:
a. Must be a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident (the stallholder and assistant(s));
b. Able to provide food and drinks that meet the health/nutritional standards set by the Health Promotion Board;
c. Able to comply with the Healthy Meals in Schools Programme Guidelines which can found at: https://www.hpb.gov.sg/schools/school-programmes/healthy-meals-in-schools-programme
c. Able to provide good service and quality food at reasonable prices (to be determined in consultation with the School);
d. Able to observe a high standard of food and personal hygiene;
e. Must be in personal attendance at the stall during the whole of its operating hours;
f. Each stallholder is permitted to have not more than 2 assistants;
g. Preferably have some catering experience in a school environment;
h. Able to provide refreshments during school functions and any other events and outings.
Health and Hygiene Requirements:
i. The stallholder and the assistant(s) must fit and healthy, and be clean and neat in their personal attire, appearance and habits.
j. Prior to the date of work commencement at the stall, the successful applicant and the assistant(s) must attend and pass the WSQ Basic Food Hygiene Course (WSQ BFHC). Upon its successful completion, the stallholder is required to apply for hawker license from SFA.
Utilities:
k. The stallholder shall ensure that separate electricity, gas and water meters are installed for his stall and be responsible for the payment of utility charges to the appropriate authorities.
Application Procedures:
1. The application form may be downloaded from MOE website at: https://schadmsvc.moe.gov.sg/files/appexistingsch.pdf or collected from the General Office from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 4.30 pm.
2. Completed application forms must be submitted together with the following documents, before the closing date of Sunday, 14 July 2024:
a) Photocopy of the applicant’s NRIC (front and back).
b) Proposed daily food menu and price list.
c) Certificate for the Basic Food Hygiene Course.
Interview and Food Tasting:
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend an interview and food tasting session (at own expense).
